Opteo costs $129 a month on Basic (10 accounts, $25,000 in monthly ad spend), $249 a month on Professional (25 accounts, $100,000) and $499 a month on Agency (75 accounts, $250,000). Above $250,000 a month in spend, Enterprise is priced by quote. Annual billing earns a two-month discount, but only if you email Opteo support to ask for it.

Those are the numbers on Opteo's own pricing page, checked in September 2026. Several software directories still list a $97 starting price, which is out of date. The more useful question for a buyer is which limit you hit first, because on most real accounts it is the spend cap, not the account count, and that changes which plan you end up paying for.

Every plan includes the same core product: the improvements queue (keyword, bid, ad and negative keyword suggestions you push live with a click), performance monitoring, budget management, alerts with a Slack integration, and Google Ads reports. The paid tiers differ in capacity, refresh speed and support, not in features.

What does Opteo cost per account?

Opteo costs $12.90 per account per month on Basic, $9.96 on Professional and $6.65 on Agency, if you fill each plan to its account limit. Those are the best cases. Few buyers fill the account limit, because the spend cap usually runs out first, so the real per-account figure is almost always higher.

PlanCost per account at the limitCost per $1,000 of capped spend
Basic, $129$12.90 (10 accounts)$5.16
Professional, $249$9.96 (25 accounts)$2.49
Agency, $499$6.65 (75 accounts)$2.00

Read the second column as the software's cost as a share of the spend it lets you manage. At the Basic cap, Opteo works out to about 0.5% of ad spend. At the Agency cap it is 0.2%. Compared with an agency charging 10% to 20% of spend, either figure is small, which is the honest case for the tool. The comparison only holds if someone on your side has the time and skill to act on what Opteo suggests.

What should I watch out for with Opteo pricing?

Watch the spend cap more than the account limit. Opteo counts spend as the combined monthly total of every account you connect, so four clients spending $8,000 each add up to $32,000 and push you off Basic onto Professional, even though you are using only four of Basic's ten account slots.

Three smaller details are worth knowing before you enter a card:

  • Refresh speed is tied to price. Basic refreshes data once every 24 hours. If you manage accounts where a bad day costs real money, a 12-hour cycle is a reason to move up that the plan names do not make obvious.
  • The spend total is yours to choose. Opteo lets you pick which accounts and manager accounts to connect. Leaving a low-priority account out is a legitimate way to stay under a cap.
  • It covers Google Ads only. If part of your budget runs on Meta or Microsoft Ads, you will pay for a second tool for that spend. Opteo also does not support right-to-left languages or double-width scripts such as Japanese.

Does Opteo provide any offers on its pricing?

Yes. Opteo gives a two-month discount on annual billing and discounts for Google Ad Grants nonprofits on a case-by-case basis, and it offers a free trial from the pricing page. Neither discount is a checkout option: you request both through support, by email or the in-app chat.

If the annual discount is applied as two free months, the yearly cost comes to about $1,290 on Basic, $2,490 on Professional and $4,990 on Agency, which is roughly 17% off paying monthly. Confirm the exact figure in writing when you ask, since the page describes the offer but does not print the annual prices. On refunds, Opteo says it will refund your most recent invoice if you are dissatisfied for any reason, which is more generous than most PPC tools and lowers the risk of trying a paid month after the trial.

Which Opteo plan do you actually need?

Pick the plan by adding up the monthly spend of every account you plan to connect, then checking the account count second. In practice:

  • In-house marketer, one or two accounts under $25,000 combined: Basic at $129.
  • Freelancer or small agency, up to $100,000 combined: Professional at $249. This is the plan most small agencies land on, usually because of spend rather than clients.
  • Agency with many mid-size clients up to $250,000 combined: Agency at $499.
  • Anything above $250,000 a month: Enterprise, by quote, which also gets you an account manager and a 6-hour refresh.

Opteo sits in the middle of the Google Ads tool market on price. For comparison, Optmyzr pricing starts at $299 a month for up to $25,000 in spend and covers more channels, and our Optmyzr vs Opteo comparison goes through which one fits which kind of team. Tool prices in this category change often and quietly; if you watch several vendors before a renewal, it is easier to track competitor pricing pages for changes automatically than to recheck each one by hand.

Is Opteo worth it?

Opteo is worth it for someone who already manages Google Ads and wants a faster way to find and apply routine fixes. At 0.2% to 0.5% of capped spend it pays for itself if it saves a few hours a month or catches one runaway search term. It is not worth it for a business with nobody to review the improvements queue, because Opteo recommends and you apply: if no one logs in, nothing changes.

That second group is bigger than it sounds. Many US small businesses shopping for Google Ads software are really shopping for someone to do the work. If that is you, compare Opteo against a done-for-you option rather than another optimizer. AdBot as an Opteo alternative builds the campaigns from your website, runs Google and Meta every day, and holds a hard daily and monthly spend cap, with plans from $297 a month and no cut of ad spend. If you want to see the other side of the market, the Ryze AI comparison covers a cheaper $89 optimizer, and the Google Ads management tool page lays out the software options side by side.
