AI ads for ecommerce brands that need ROAS

For an online store, paid ads are the growth engine, and the fastest way to light money on fire. Agencies take a retainer plus a cut of spend, freelancers juggle ten clients, and learning Ads Manager yourself costs you the margin you are trying to protect.

AdBot is an AI media buyer built for DTC and ecommerce. It connects your catalog, builds Advantage+ Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, writes product-aware creative, and optimizes toward ROAS every day, so you scale what is profitable and cut what is not.

What it handles

Everything, from research to daily optimization

You set the goal and the budget. AdBot does the work a media buyer would, and reports back in plain language.

  • Advantage+ Shopping and Performance Max
  • Product-feed and catalog campaigns
  • ROAS-based budget optimization
  • Retargeting and prospecting in one system

A day of optimization

Every 24h
  • 1 Reads yesterday's spend, clicks, conversions and cost per result from both platforms.
  • 2 Adds the search terms and placements that spent without converting to your exclusions.
  • 3 Shifts budget, within your cap, toward the ad groups hitting your target cost.
  • 4 Rotates in the next creative variant where an ad has fatigued.
  • 5 Logs every change so you can read it and reverse it.

AdBot never spends past the daily cap you set.

Can AI run my ecommerce ads?

Yes. AdBot connects your store and product catalog, builds Advantage+ Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, writes product-aware creative, and then optimizes toward return on ad spend every day, the same work an ecommerce media buyer does, inside your own Google and Meta ad accounts. It shifts budget to the products and audiences that sell and pulls back on the ones that do not.

Ecommerce is the ideal case for automation because the decisions are numeric and constant: which SKU is profitable at what ROAS today, which creative has fatigued, where the next dollar returns the most. That daily, catalog-level tuning is hard to keep up manually and easy to neglect, which is exactly where an always-on AI buyer beats a busy founder checking in when they can. For the Meta side specifically, see how we run Facebook ads for ecommerce.

How is this different from Shopify ad apps?

Most Shopify ad apps sync your product feed and let you push a campaign live, but the strategy, creative, and daily optimization are still on you. They automate the plumbing, not the media buying. Feed a well-synced app a weak campaign structure and thin creative, and it will faithfully spend into a poor ROAS.

AdBot acts as the buyer, not the pipe. It structures the account, writes and tests the creative, runs Shopping and Advantage+ together across Google and Meta, and optimizes by product every day. See how it fits stores specifically on our AI ads for Shopify page.

What ROAS should an ecommerce store target?

Your target ROAS is not a universal 4:1, it is set by your margin. Break-even ROAS equals one divided by your gross margin, so a 40 percent margin breaks even at 2.5x and needs more to profit, while a 25 percent margin needs 4.0x just to cover the ad cost. Aim for roughly 1.5 times your break-even at launch, then scale spend while you stay above it.

The mistake is chasing the highest possible ratio, which usually means under-spending and leaving profitable sales on the table. The goal is the most total profit at a ROAS above break-even, not the biggest number on a tiny budget. Our ROAS calculator shows your break-even in seconds.
