Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Adbot.ai ("Adbot", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and services. Adbot is an AI media buyer that builds, launches, and optimizes Google and Meta ad campaigns on behalf of businesses. By using Adbot, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This policy applies to information we process when you visit our site, create an account, connect your advertising and website data, and use the Adbot service. It does not cover the separate privacy practices of Google, Meta, or any other third party whose products you use alongside Adbot.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, company name, and login credentials.
  • Billing information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment details. We receive limited billing data such as the last four digits of your card, billing country, and subscription status, but we do not store full card numbers.
  • Connected ad-account and website data. To run your campaigns, you connect your Google Ads and Meta advertising accounts and grant us access to your website. We then process campaign data, ad performance metrics, audience and conversion data, budgets, and information about your products and pages.
  • Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with Adbot, including pages viewed, features used, actions taken, and timestamps.
  • Device and log data. We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and similar technical details.
  • Cookies and analytics data. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and understand how it is used, as described below.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Adbot service.
  • Build, launch, and optimize your Google and Meta ad campaigns, including writing creative, structuring campaigns, and adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Communicate with you about your account, performance, support requests, and product updates.
  • Analyze usage to improve our features, models, and reporting.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Advertising platform data

Adbot operates within the advertising accounts you connect. When you authorize access to your Google Ads and Meta accounts, we act on your behalf to manage campaigns inside those accounts under each platform's terms and policies. The data we access from these platforms is used only to run and optimize your campaigns and to report results back to you.

We do not sell your personal information, your advertising data, or your customer data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles for unrelated purposes.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the service, and measure how our site performs. Some cookies are essential for the site to function, while others help us understand aggregate usage through analytics providers. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

Data sharing and processors

We do not sell your data. We share information only in the following situations:

  • Service providers and sub-processors. We use trusted vendors to operate Adbot, including cloud hosting providers, our payment processor, email and communication services, and analytics tools. We share data with the Google and Meta advertising APIs to run your campaigns. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Adbot, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Adbot is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you close your account, we retain data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it. Some campaign performance data may be retained in aggregated, de-identified form.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to notify you where required if an incident occurs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To make a request, contact us at team@adbot.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

International transfers

Adbot is operated from, and uses providers located in, various countries. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Adbot is a business tool intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
