Adext AI Alternative With Adext AI Reviews and Pricing for Google and Meta Advertisers
Adext AI (adext.ai) sells audience management as a service. It connects to Google Ads and Facebook, runs your ads through its own "Smart Campaigns", and shifts budget between micro audiences in two phases it calls Explore and Amplify. Its pricing page lists Starter, Venture and Core plans shown at $99, $299 and $999 a month, plus a percentage of the ad spend that runs through Adext, billed at the end of each month. The site footer reads 2020 and 2021, and when we checked, the login and signup pages at amaas.adext.ai returned a server error.
AdBot is the Adext AI alternative for a US business that needs Google and Meta run every day by something that is clearly maintained and priced up front. It reads your website, builds Google Search, Performance Max, Shopping and Meta campaigns, writes the ads, and adjusts bids, budgets and audiences daily inside a hard spend cap. Plans are $297 a month for one platform and $697 for Google and Meta together, never a share of your budget.

Google Ads & Meta Ads
Your accounts, your billing
Hard budget cap you control
No percentage of ad spend
What you get
A full media buyer, working for you 24/7
A product you can actually log into
Adext AI still sells from a site dated 2020 to 2021, and its app URLs returned an error when we checked. AdBot is live, sold on a current pricing page, and you can see the whole plan list before you sign up.
No cut of your ad spend
Adext charges a plan fee and then a percentage of the spend that ran through it. AdBot is a flat $297, $697 or $1,497 a month. Spending more on ads never raises the AdBot bill.
It builds and writes too
Adext optimizes audiences and budgets inside campaigns you set up. AdBot starts earlier: it reads your site, writes the ads, builds the Google and Meta campaigns and then runs them.

Adext AI details are from adext.ai (homepage, pricing page and its FAQ) and a direct check of its login and signup URLs, September 2026. The pricing page layout makes it hard to tell which spend limit belongs to which plan, so confirm with Adext in writing. Madgicx and Birch figures are from their own pricing pages, September 2026. AdBot figures are our published plans.
What it handles
Everything, from research to daily optimization
You set the goal and the budget. AdBot does the work a media buyer would, and reports back in plain language.
- Google Search, Performance Max, Shopping and Meta campaigns built from your website
- Ads written for you, not only reweighted
- Every new build waits for your approval
- Hard daily and monthly spend cap
- Published flat plans, no percentage of ad spend
- Campaigns stay in ad accounts you own
A day of optimization
Every 24h- 1 Reads yesterday's spend, clicks, conversions and cost per result from both platforms.
- 2 Adds the search terms and placements that spent without converting to your exclusions.
- 3 Shifts budget, within your cap, toward the ad groups hitting your target cost.
- 4 Rotates in the next creative variant where an ad has fatigued.
- 5 Logs every change so you can read it and reverse it.
AdBot never spends past the daily cap you set.
What does Adext AI do?
Adext AI describes itself as the first audience management as a service platform. You connect a Google Ads or Facebook account, create what Adext calls a Smart Campaign, and its machine learning splits the audience into small demographic segments and moves budget between them. The first phase, Explore, spends to find the best audiences and, in Adext's own words, some costs may increase while it does. The second phase, Amplify, lets you pick a KPI and a model and pushes budget toward the winners.
The homepage claims up to 240 budget updates per ad each day, 10,000 simulations an hour per ad group, more than 12,000 improved campaigns and a 105% average conversion uplift. It names Samsung and eBay among its users. Those are the vendor's figures, we cannot verify any of them, and several of them sit next to a 2020 copyright line and blog posts about the coronavirus lockdowns.
How much does Adext AI cost?
Adext AI's pricing page shows three plans, Starter, Venture and Core, with prices of $99, $299 and $999 a month. On top of that fee, its FAQ says Adext calculates the ad spend that ran through its campaigns at the end of each month and charges the percentage attached to your plan. The percentage itself is not printed anywhere on the page.
The plan list gives one Facebook or Google ad account on the entry plan, two on the middle plan and unlimited accounts on the top plan, with monthly spend limits of $10,000 and $30,000 and an unlimited tier. The FAQ says there are no annual or biannual discounts and that only credit cards are accepted, while a label on the same page mentions a yearly price with "save 83%". A page that contradicts itself on billing is a reason to get the full quote, including the spend percentage, in writing before you connect an account.
- Plan fee: $99, $299 or $999 a month as shown.
- Spend fee: a percentage of the ad spend run through Adext, billed at month end, rate not published.
- Ad accounts: 1, 2 or unlimited Google or Facebook accounts by plan.
- Payment: credit card only; cancel anytime, campaigns are paused and data saved.
Is Adext AI still working in 2026?
We could not confirm that it is. The marketing site at adext.ai loads, but its footer is dated 2020 and 2021, its newest blog topics are from 2020, and the login and signup links on the pricing page point to amaas.adext.ai, which returned a Cloudflare 522 error (the origin server did not respond) when we tested it. The G2 profile for Adext has not been managed by the company for more than a year.
None of that proves the product is gone, and an existing customer may still have access through another route. It does mean a new buyer should not move a live budget onto it without a working login, a written quote and a named contact. If your Adext campaigns have stopped updating, the safest move is to take the budget back into your own ad accounts first, then choose a replacement.
Adext AI reviews, what buyers actually say
Public Adext AI reviews are thin. G2 shows 11 reviews for the seller, and the directory pages that rank for Adext (Capterra, SoftwareWorld, TrustRadius, SourceForge) mostly repeat the vendor description. Several of them list email tools such as Mailchimp or HubSpot as Adext alternatives, which tells you the listings are auto-generated rather than written by people who compared ad tools.
When you read the reviews that do exist, check the date first. A review of an ad tool from 2019 or 2020 describes Facebook and Google before iOS 14 tracking limits, Advantage+ and Performance Max changed how audiences and budgets work, so it says little about how the same algorithm performs now. For current, side-by-side facts on the tools that are clearly maintained, see the comparison of AI ad tools, which lists the prices each vendor publishes today.
What are the best alternatives to Adext AI?
The right Adext AI alternative depends on whether you want audience optimization only or someone to run the whole account. These are the realistic options for a US advertiser in 2026, all of them with live signups.
- AdBot: an AI media buyer for Google and Meta that builds the campaigns, writes the ads and optimizes daily. $297 to $1,497 a month, published, no share of spend.
- Madgicx: Meta-first audiences, automation and reporting for DTC brands, $45 to $329 a month by spend band. See the Madgicx comparison.
- Birch (formerly Revealbot): rule-based automation for Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok, priced by spend tier. See the Revealbot alternatives page.
- Pixis: an AI analyst (Prism, from $200 a month) that recommends changes for your team to apply. See the Pixis AI comparison.
- Trapica: enterprise AI optimization across 20+ platforms, quote-only, with a recommended $10,000 monthly spend minimum. See the Trapica comparison.
Adext AI vs AdBot, the real differences
Both products change your campaigns without waiting for a person, and both work inside ad accounts you own. The differences are in what they touch and how they bill.
- Scope: Adext moves budget between audience segments. AdBot also picks keywords and products, writes the ad copy, builds the campaign structure and checks search terms.
- Starting point: Adext needs Smart Campaigns created on its platform. AdBot builds Google Search, Performance Max, Shopping and Meta campaigns from your website.
- Cost model: Adext adds a percentage of spend to the plan fee. AdBot is a flat plan, and annual billing costs half the monthly rate.
- Control: Adext runs an Explore phase that can raise costs while it learns. AdBot enforces a hard daily and monthly spend cap and waits for your approval before any new build goes live.
- Maintenance: AdBot ships changes to a live product today. Adext's public site has not visibly changed since 2021.
Is an audience-optimization tool worth it for a small account?
Usually only if the account already runs well. Budget-shifting algorithms need conversions to learn from, and an account spending $2,000 to $5,000 a month rarely feeds them enough. The bigger losses at that size come from the wrong campaign types, stale ads, broad match terms nobody checks and budgets that stop at noon. A tool that only reweights audiences cannot fix those.
That is why AdBot is built as a whole buyer instead of an add-on. It sets up the structure, keeps new ads flowing and adjusts daily, which is the work a small-business PPC manager would do. The advertising budget calculator helps you size the spend first, and PPC budget management software explains how the spend cap works.
Switching from Adext AI to AdBot
Adext runs inside your own Google Ads and Facebook accounts, so your history, pixels and audiences stay with you. The main job is making sure two systems are never changing the same budgets at once.
- Pause the Adext Smart Campaigns or cancel the plan so they stop moving budget. Adext says it pauses campaigns and keeps your data on cancellation.
- Remove Adext's access in Google Ads (Admin, Access and security) and in Meta Business Settings, especially if you cannot log into Adext to cancel.
- Check your card statement for the month-end spend percentage and dispute any charge for a period the service did not run.
- Connect the same accounts to AdBot, set a daily and monthly spend cap, and review the proposed campaigns in the approvals queue.
- Compare two weeks of cost per conversion against your last good Adext month.
