Flat fee. We never take a cut of your ad spend.

Adwisely costs 10% of your monthly ad spend, with a minimum of $49 a month on Self-Serve or $249 a month on Concierge, and the fee never goes above $3,250 a month. Ad spend is paid separately, straight to Google and Meta. Both plans open with a 7-day free trial. In practice a store spending $5,000 a month on ads pays Adwisely $500 on either plan.

Those figures come from Adwisely's pricing page, its Shopify App Store listing and its help center, all checked in September 2026. A lot of what ranks for this search is out of date: one directory lists a $19 plan, one review calls it "free to $49", and a comparison page on Adwisely's own site still mentions $99 and $249 tiers. The percentage model is the one you will actually be billed on, so that is what this breakdown works through.

Adwisely pricing in 2026: both plans

PlanFeeMonthly minimumMonthly maximumWhat you get
Self-Serve10% of ad spend$49$3,250AI-powered Meta and Google campaigns, email and chat support
Concierge10% of ad spend$249$3,250Everything in Self-Serve plus 10 hours a month from Adwisely ad experts (5 hours Meta, 5 hours Google)

Adwisely supports Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce stores and runs Google, Facebook and Instagram ads, including catalog-based retargeting and prospecting. Its Shopify listing showed 4.5 out of 5 from 189 reviews when we checked.

How much does Adwisely cost?

Adwisely costs whichever is higher each month: your plan minimum, or 10% of what you spent on ads. So the real price depends almost entirely on your budget. Here is the fee at common monthly spend levels, with the fee shown as a share of spend so you can compare it with an agency or a flat-fee tool.

Monthly ad spendSelf-Serve feeConcierge feeFee as % of spend (Self-Serve)
$300$49$24916.3%
$1,000$100$24910%
$2,500$250$25010%
$5,000$500$50010%
$10,000$1,000$1,00010%
$20,000$2,000$2,00010%
$32,500$3,250$3,25010%
$50,000$3,250$3,2506.5%
$100,000$3,250$3,2503.25%

Two things jump out. Below about $490 a month in spend, the $49 minimum means you pay more than 10%. And from $32,500 upward the ceiling kicks in, so the effective rate falls the more you spend. Between those two points you are paying a straight 10%.

Is Adwisely free to use?

No. Adwisely is free for the first 7 days, then it charges at least $49 a month on Self-Serve or $249 on Concierge, or 10% of your ad spend if that is more. You also pay Google and Meta for the ads themselves. The app is free to install from the Shopify App Store, which is where the "free" label in some reviews comes from.

How does Adwisely billing work?

Adwisely bills in 30-day periods. The plan minimum is charged at the start of each period, and the 10% usage fee on anything above it is settled at the start of the next one. According to Adwisely's help center:

  • The minimum ($49 or $249) is paid upfront for the current period.
  • If 10% of your spend ends up above the minimum, the difference is charged at the start of the following period.
  • If your accumulated usage fee reaches $1,000 within a period, Adwisely charges that $1,000 immediately, so a store spending heavily can see several charges in one month.
  • On Shopify, the fee goes on the payment card attached to your Shopify account.
  • Ad spend is billed by Google and Meta directly, either when you hit their billing threshold or at the end of the month.

The practical effect is that your Adwisely charge lags your spend by a month. If you scale up in November for the holidays, the bigger bill arrives in December, on top of the December minimum. Budget for it.

Self-Serve or Concierge: which plan should you pick?

Pick Concierge if you spend more than about $2,490 a month on ads. Above that level, 10% of your spend is already more than the $249 Concierge minimum, so both plans cost exactly the same and the 10 hours of expert time on Concierge cost you nothing extra. Self-Serve only saves money below roughly $2,490 in monthly spend.

This is the one pricing detail most reviews miss. At $5,000 a month in spend you pay $500 either way. Choosing Self-Serve at that budget means giving up ten hours of hands-on campaign work for no saving at all.

What should I watch out for with Adwisely pricing?

  • The fee grows with your success. A store that scales from $5,000 to $25,000 a month in spend sees its Adwisely bill go from $500 to $2,500, even if the account structure barely changes.
  • Cancel at the end of a period. The minimum is taken at the start of each 30-day period, so cancelling mid-period does not save the minimum you already paid.
  • Small budgets pay more than 10%. At $300 a month in spend, the $49 minimum is over 16% of spend. At that size, the ads themselves are usually the bottleneck, not the management.
  • Stale prices are everywhere. Directories still quote $19, $49 flat, or $99 plans. Check the current pricing page before you plan a budget around any figure you read.

Is Adwisely worth it?

Adwisely is worth it for a small Shopify store spending up to about $3,000 a month on ads that wants catalog retargeting and prospecting running without hiring anyone. At that budget the fee is $49 to $300, far below any agency retainer, and the 7-day trial lets you test it on your own store first.

It gets harder to justify as spend grows. At $10,000 a month you pay $1,000 a month, or $12,000 a year, for the same two channels, and at $20,000 you pay $24,000 a year. That is agency money. Stores at that size should price the alternatives before renewing, and the comparison worth making is against tools and services that do not charge a percentage. If you want better on-site conversion from the traffic you are already paying for, it also helps to collect and display customer reviews on your product pages before you raise the budget.

Adwisely vs a flat-fee AI media buyer

The main alternative to a percentage fee is a flat one. AdBot, the AI media buyer we build, charges $297 a month for one platform (Google or Meta) up to about $10,000 in spend, $697 for Google and Meta together up to about $50,000, and $1,497 for multiple accounts and brands. It builds Search, Performance Max, Shopping and Meta campaigns from your store, waits for your approval before launching, and works the account daily inside a hard spend cap.

$20,000$2,000$697AdBot cheaper by $15,636
$40,000$3,250$697AdBot cheaper by $30,636

Under about $7,000 a month across both channels, Adwisely is the cheaper choice and we would say so. Above it, the flat fee wins by more every month you grow. Adwisely also has things AdBot does not: a free trial, a native Shopify install that reads your catalog, and human expert hours on Concierge. The full feature-by-feature comparison, including Madgicx and agency pricing, is on our Adwisely alternative page, and AI ads for Shopify stores covers how the campaigns are built.

If you are weighing other spend-indexed tools, our Madgicx pricing breakdown shows the same fee-grows-with-spend pattern on a Meta toolkit, and AdBot pricing lists every plan and what it covers.
