Zeely Alternative With Zeely AI Reviews and a Flat Fee Instead of a 12% Cut
Zeely is an AI ad maker for small businesses. It turns a product or store link into image and video ads, then lets you launch them on Facebook and Instagram from its web app or phone app. The plans cost $29.95, $49.95 or $79.95 a month for 2,500 to 10,000 credits, and campaigns you run through Zeely carry a service fee of up to 12% of your Meta ad budget (6% with its $39.95 a year Booster).
AdBot is the Zeely alternative for US businesses whose Meta spend has outgrown a percentage fee, or who need someone to run the account every day rather than another way to make ads. It builds Facebook and Instagram campaigns from your website, then pauses weak ads and moves budget daily inside a hard spend cap, in your own Meta ad account, for $297 a month on Launch ($148 billed annually). The fee does not grow with your budget.
What you can order now: New plans run Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram. Google Ads campaigns are not available for new orders right now, and TikTok campaigns are not available to order.

What it handles
Everything, from research to daily optimization
You set the goal and the budget. AdBot does the work a media buyer would, and reports back in plain language.
- Facebook and Instagram campaigns built from your website
- Daily pausing of ads that spend without results
- Budget moved between ad sets toward the lower cost per result
- A flat monthly fee that never grows with ad spend
- A hard daily and monthly spend cap with one-switch pause
- A change log of every edit, with undo
A day of optimization
Every 24h- 1 Reads yesterday's spend, clicks, conversions and cost per result from your Meta ad account.
- 2 Pauses the ads that spent without bringing anyone to your site.
- 3 Shifts budget, within your cap, toward the ad sets hitting your target cost.
- 4 Moves budget inside an ad set to the ad with the better cost per result.
- 5 Logs every change so you can read it and reverse it.
AdBot never spends past the daily cap you set.
Why look for a Zeely AI alternative?
Most people start looking for a Zeely alternative for one of three reasons. The first is cost at higher spend. Zeely's subscription is cheap, but its pricing FAQ says running Facebook and Instagram ads through Zeely involves charges of up to 12%. At $500 a month in ads that is $60. At $3,000 it is $360, more than four times the Growth plan, and at $8,000 it is $960 a month on top of the subscription.
The second is the work that is left over. Zeely is very good at the part most small businesses find hardest, which is producing a steady supply of image and video ads. It recommends changes, but someone still has to decide each week which ads to switch off, which ad set deserves more budget, and when a campaign has run its course. If that person does not exist, results drift.
The third is control. Reviews regularly mention confusion about renewals, credits and cancelling. Businesses that have been burned once tend to want campaigns in their own Meta ad account, a clear bill and a hard ceiling on spend. Our Zeely pricing breakdown works through the full bill at five ad budgets if you want the numbers first.

What Zeely AI reviews say
On Trustpilot, Zeely has a TrustScore of 4.3 from about 4,200 reviews (checked October 9, 2026). Around 81% are four or five stars and 12% are one star, which is a common shape for consumer-priced subscription apps: most people are happy, and a loud minority had a billing problem. Zeely replies to almost every negative review, usually within a day.
The positive reviews are consistent. People say it is easy to start with no ad experience, that it saves hours on making ads, and that the video ads and AI avatars look better than what they could make themselves. For a solo seller or a new store, that is real value for $30 to $80 a month.
The complaints cluster in four places, and they are worth reading before you pick any tool in this category.
- Billing and cancellation. Charges after cancelling, renewals people did not expect, and subscriptions bought in the phone app that have to be cancelled in the App Store or Google Play rather than on the site.
- Credits and ad costs. Reviewers ask for a clearer explanation of how credits are spent and how the ad budget and Zeely's fee show up on their card.
- Results. Some expected sales to follow automatically. Good creative helps, but a campaign still needs budget decisions and time to learn.
- Learning curve. Several reviewers needed trial and error to get a first campaign live and wanted more guidance inside the app.
Is Zeely AI legit?
Yes. Zeely is a real company with a web app and mobile apps, it describes itself as a Meta Business Partner, and it has thousands of public reviews with a mostly positive score. The "scam" posts you will find on Reddit and Facebook are almost always about billing surprises, such as a renewal after a trial or two separate charges from Zeely and Meta, rather than a product that does not exist.
The practical advice is the same for any app subscription. Note where you subscribed, because that is where you cancel. Expect two charges each month, one from Meta for the ad spend and one from Zeely for the plan and its fee. And set a budget ceiling on every campaign so a mistake costs days, not weeks.
What is the best Zeely AI alternative?
It depends on which job you want done. Most lists of Zeely alternatives only compare creative tools, which is fine if creative is your bottleneck and misleading if it is not.
- You need more ads, faster, and can run the account yourself: another creative generator is the like-for-like swap. Our AdCreative.ai alternative page and Quickads pricing breakdown cover two of the main ones.
- You spend $1,500 or more a month on Meta and nobody manages the account daily: a buyer such as AdBot, which builds and runs the campaigns for a flat fee, is the better fit.
- You already have a media buyer and want rules or reporting: an optimizer priced by spend, such as the tools on our WASK alternative page, is cheaper than either.
- You want strategy, filming and a monthly call: hire an agency, and expect a retainer well above any tool here.
Zeely vs AdBot at your ad budget
At small budgets Zeely is cheaper, and that is worth saying plainly. On Growth at $79.95 with the 12% fee, the monthly Zeely bill is about $140 at $500 of ad spend and $200 at $1,000. AdBot Launch is $297 a month, or $148 a month billed annually, whatever you spend up to about $10,000.
The lines cross at roughly $1,800 a month of Meta spend against AdBot monthly billing, or about $3,600 if you buy Zeely's Booster and pay 6%. Against AdBot's annual price the crossover falls to around $570 a month at 12%. Above those points the flat fee wins, and the gap widens with every extra dollar: at $8,000 a month the Zeely plan plus fee is about $1,040, against $297.
Price is not the whole story. Zeely gives you a creative studio AdBot does not have. AdBot gives you the daily account work Zeely leaves to you. Plenty of advertisers keep a creative tool and add a buyer. See AdBot pricing for every plan.
What AdBot does in your Facebook and Instagram account
You give AdBot your website and a budget. It reads the site, writes several versions of the ad copy, proposes a campaign build with daily budgets per ad set, and waits for your approval. Nothing launches and nothing spends until you approve. The campaigns go live in your own Meta ad account, so you can open Ads Manager at any time and see exactly what is running.
After launch the routine work is automatic. Every day AdBot reads recent results, pauses ads that spent without sending visits or sales, and moves budget toward the ad sets that cost less per result, without changing your total. Every change goes into a change log with the value it replaced, so you can undo it. The Facebook ads management tool page shows how this compares with running Ads Manager by hand, and AI Facebook ads explains the daily loop in more detail.
If your current account was set up through another tool and you want a second opinion before switching, a Facebook ads audit shows what is wasting budget first.
Who should stay on Zeely
Stay on Zeely if you spend under about $1,000 a month on Meta, make most of your sales from a handful of products, and the thing you struggle with is producing new ads every week. Its video and avatar ads are its strength, the plans are cheap, and the fee is small at that budget. Buy the Booster if you advertise most of the year, because it pays for itself at roughly $56 a month of ad spend.
Move to a flat-fee buyer when the fee line on your Zeely bill is bigger than the subscription, when nobody has looked at the campaigns for a week, or when you want everything in an ad account you control. Local practices and service businesses hit that point fast; our Facebook ads for dentists page is an example of what daily management looks like for a single location.
